细盲蛇
细盲蛇(Leptotyphlops)，蛇类的一种，细盲蛇属，主要分布在从苏丹，赞比亚到南非一带。

体态特征
英文名:Leptotyphlops nigricans(Black worm-snake)
蛇目，体长为20厘米，头部较圆，身体纤细，尾部较短，身体背面主要为暗褐色至黑色。
分布于从苏丹，赞比亚到南非一带，栖息于草原，灌丛等地带，昼夜均活动，善于挖掘，冬季集群，每群多达100条以上。
细盲蛇属(学名:Leptotyphlops)是蛇亚目细盲蛇科下的一个无毒蛇属，主要分布于北美洲、南美洲、非洲及西南亚等。目前共有86个品种已被确认。
细盲蛇 生活习性
大部分细盲蛇外表都像有光泽的蚯蚓。它们多以棕色或粉红色为主，体型幼小，身体上的鳞片有明显的节状纹理。其它种类的盲蛇大概也有类似的特征，不过该类盲蛇多以黑色为主。细盲蛇的眼睛极小，仅成点状，而且几乎没有视力。习性
盲蛇都善于掘洞，并栖息于地下。平时它们大都生活于地洞之中，只有在雨天时才可能爬上地面。盲蛇的主要食物是蚂蚁和白蚁，与及它们的虫卵和幼虫。
地理分布
细盲蛇广泛分布于美洲、非洲及西南亚，亚洲，欧洲。在美洲里，细盲蛇分布于美国西南部、大部分中美洲及南美洲(包括乌拉圭及阿根廷)一带。
