剧情简介

　　十年前的第一集《猛鬼街》令主演希瑟(希瑟·兰根坎普饰)成为成功的演员，十年后，希瑟已经拥有幸福的家庭，但是最近，在频发的地震与陌生人的骚扰电话事件之间，噩梦令希瑟颇不心安。希瑟与丈夫将合作电影，而电影公司为了响应《猛鬼街》影迷的期待，准备邀请希瑟出演最新一集的猛鬼街，但被希瑟婉拒。希瑟的丈夫在回家路上意外身亡，而儿子迪伦近期的行为愈发诡异，恶魔弗莱迪(罗伯特·英格兰德饰)在她梦中的形象愈发清晰，希瑟感到迪伦身处弗莱迪的威胁之中，这个银幕上的杀人狂似乎从观众的支持中获得了强大的力量，从而跃出电影变成了真实的凶手……
