剧情简介

　　本片详细讲述在强大的罗马帝国统治下，沦为神鬼战士的战俘经历艰难波折，尝尽爱恨情仇，最终恢复自由身的故事。

　　故事发生在公元83年，罗马帝国的鼎盛时期。日尔曼人兄弟日曼努斯和兹哈多克作为战俘被罗马人逼迫在角斗场与人决斗，对手是强大的拉高斯，结果兹哈多克为了保护日曼努斯而死，日曼努斯从此发奋训练，以期能报仇雪恨，并获得真正的自由身，可他们的妹妹却与拉高斯有了关系，一切该怎样结束呢?

　　20世纪五六十年代的史诗时代早已逝去，金戈铁马、刀光剑影的故事也已被大多数观众淡忘。2000年雷德利·斯考特重温逝去年代，执导史诗巨片《角斗士》将宏伟的古罗马角斗场再现于银幕之上，为人们讲述了一个有关勇气与复仇的故事，掀起史诗大片热潮。

　　好题材不怕炒作，同样作为史诗大片的《日耳曼角斗士》，不惜巨资重建巨大的罗马角斗场、街道、角斗士训练场等，为了重现角斗鼎盛场面，增加影片的真实度，古罗马角斗场和角斗士训练营都是按1:1实际比例复制的，老虎狮子和群众演员一应俱全;另外，从角斗场的设计、材料都严格按照历史资料建造，而演员服饰、角斗剑、盾牌、饰物等都是经过专业人员精心设计，打造一个原汁原味的罗马角斗大电影。
