张学勇，男，1962年9月生，甘肃省临洮县人。博士，研究员。中国科学院遗传发育所国家细胞与染色体工程国家重点实验室兼职研究员。

2002年被中国农业科学院聘为二级杰出人才。
1984年毕业于甘肃农业大学农学系，87 毕业于中国科学院西北植物研究所，获硕士学位。
1992年毕业于中国农业科学院研究生院，获博士学位。
1994.2-1996.10在美国农部牧草及草地研究中心 (犹他州立大学) 分子细胞遗传学实验室、加拿大农部植物研究中心分子遗传学实验室做博士后研究。
1997.4-1998.1在义大利Tuscia大学做博士后研究。
研究方向
目前主要从事小麦遗传多样性与核心种质构建、基因组进化、品质相关基因克隆等方面的研究工作。
现主持国家重点基础研究项目（G1998010202）专题:"中国小麦核心种质构建"等项目的研究工作。
主要贡献
主持完成了国家转基因专项（J98-018）, 成功克隆了小偃6号的"14"和"15"亚基编码基因。
主持完成了国家自然基金（39870494）："普通小麦A组染色体分子指纹图谱的拓建"等研究项目。
在国内外核心刊物发表研究论文近40篇，被他人在SCI刊物引用70余次。
