斯凯岛船歌（英语：The Skye Boat Song）是一首着名的苏格兰民谣，其创作取材于1745年苏格兰詹姆斯党起义。

历史背景

1745年，流亡法国的詹姆斯党王位宣称者查尔斯·爱德华·斯图亚特（他被人们亲切地称为英俊王子查理）回到苏格兰高地，依靠个人魅力，将原本矛盾重重、却又都不满英国政府高压统治的苏格兰部族聚集起来，武装反抗国王乔治二世的统治。苏格兰起义军一度取得重大胜利，甚至占领了苏格兰首府爱丁堡，令英国军队束手无策。但在次年发生的卡洛登战役中，起义军惨败，几乎全军覆没。随后，查尔斯王子在苏格兰高地的荒原上辗转藏身，几乎是在政府军眼皮底下游蕩。很多高地人看到他，也帮助他，没人拿他去领3万英镑的赏金。在嚮导和少数追随者的帮助下，王子最后逃到了本贝丘拉岛，并在那里结识了一位高地女子——麦克唐纳家族的弗洛拉小姐。在一个风雨交加的夜晚, 勇敢的弗洛拉·麦克唐纳和几位忠心的渔夫一起，帮助乔扮成她的爱尔兰女僕的查尔斯王子冲破政府军的严密封锁，越过大雾迷漫的明奇海峡，到达斯凯岛，令王子从斯凯岛顺利逃亡国外。不久后，弗洛拉因此事被政府军逮捕，被关押在伦敦塔，虽然一年后这位高地女子就被释放，但她和许多苏格兰人一样，再也没有盼回他们热爱的查尔斯王子。

创作过程

《斯凯岛船歌》的旋律很早就在赫布里底群岛流传，而歌词直到19世纪70年代才出现。从男爵哈罗德·波顿爵士根据一位名叫安妮·坎贝尔·麦克劳德的年轻女子的民谣蒐集成果写了这首歌的歌词。1884年，《斯凯岛船歌》第一次发表在伦敦出版的一本名为《北方之歌》的书上。这本书由波顿和麦克劳德共同编辑，至少再版了十四次。后来，其他人又为这首歌创作了另外几个版本的歌词。
